Baseball

The CJMS Baseball program has a place for any 7th and 8th grade athlete! There are advanced and beginner teams to meet the skill level of every participant. Students are challenged to learn new skills and push themselves to be their best. At the same time, Coach Hoff makes sure to include a variety of fun elements in practices. The goal is to have a lot of fun while learning the sport of Baseball. All are welcome to join the team.

The following equipment will be needed for baseball:

Baseball Hat
Glove
Cleats (metal or plastic fine)
Bat
Practice pants (grey would be best)
Long sleeves or a ¾ sleeves for practice (Navy blue 7^th teal 8th)
Cup/jock
If you do not have any of these items, please do not let this keep your child from playing. Mr. Hoff has all this gear and can loan it to any player for the baseball season. The only item Mr. Hoff does not loan out will be a jock and a cup.
Game hats will be $30 this year. If you have trouble buying a hat, please see Ms. Heid in the office.

Step 4: Student Eligibility

For a student to participate in sports they must have good academic standing at school. This means passing 5 classes (if enrolled in 6) or 6 classes (if enrolled in 7).

Regarding attendance and athletic participation, athletes must attend at least half a day of school to be able to participate in practices or games, regardless of whether absence is excused or unexcused.

Students/Athletes that have been assigned in-school and/or out-of-school suspension cannot participate in practice or games any days during said suspension.

FinalForms Registration

We are very excited to announce that Richland School District has partnered with FinalForms, an online forms and data management service. FinalForms allows you to complete and sign athletic forms as well as activity & club forms for your students. The most exciting news is that FinalForms saves data year-to-year, meaning that you will never need to enter the same information twice! FinalForms also pre-populates information wherever possible, for each of your students, saving you time.

You may review your data at any time to verify it is current. You will be required to sign your forms once per year and after any update.

All current parents in the district will receive a confirmation email from FinalForms.
