Congratulations To Our 2024 National Board Certified Teachers
Honoring Excellence in Education! National Board Certification is one of the highest recognitions in the education profession, and RSD has four newly certified educators:
- Alexa David, Math Teacher at Chief Joseph Middle School
- Molly Dortch, Instructional Specialist at Marcus Whitman Elementary
- Karen Johnson, First Grade Teacher at Marcus Whitman Elementary
- Kaili Olson, Special Education Teacher at Marcus Whitman Elementary
All four educators completed their certifications in under one year, an achievement that requires perseverance and intensive focus to complete. We are immensely proud of all our educators who earn this certification.
National Board certification is an extensive voluntary assessment program that recognizes accomplished teachers who meet the highest standards in their profession and utilize practices to improve instruction and advance student learning.
